I’ve been enamored with Egypt ever since I was very young, so I jumped at the chance to visit! One of the world’s oldest civilizations, Egypt is full of things well-known to popular imagination: temples, palaces, and vast deserts.

Cairo might be the most sheerly overwhelming city I’ve ever been to. However, it’s also rich with history from what feels like every single era of recorded history. Exploring this gigantic city and all that is has to offer is an impossible task.

Venturing Beyond the Cities

On top of that, the surrounding desert is a nice escape from Cairo’s overbearing nature. Oases, villages, and breathtaking and often bizarre desert vistas are found throughout Egypt. There’s so much more to this country than the typical destinations that most visitors find along the Nile!

Egypt captures culture, history, and adventure like nowhere else does. It is special, unique, and captivating, and I can’t wait to spend more time here.
