This gallery is a short series of captures taken across Korea at sites of cultural significance like temples, palaces, and other random scenes. The labor put into designing and building traditional Hannok buildings is astounding to think about. While exploring Korea, I developed a passion for capturing their beauty as best as I can.

A few more of these shots are simply pictures of random things I’ve run across while exploring. They are from bars, cafes, or just spots on the street, any time I had my camera on me.

IMPORTANT for readers: An image in this gallery contains a symbol on a Buddhist temple which appears to resemble a Nazi Swastika. It is important to know that these two symbols are separate and have two very different meanings. The symbol in this gallery is common Buddhist imagery and predates the rise of Nazism by several centuries.
